Specialised Workshops
with Skilled Tutoring
At Skillway we have three craft workshops and a mezzanine that provides office space as well as “clean” working space for presentation of relevant video training clips, technical drawing, and similar skills training. Each of the three workshops specialises in a range of training relevant to the materials used.
Skillway is managed by Greg Bleach, General Manager, and supported by two part-time staff tutors.
All the other Tutors give of their time freely as skilled volunteers. All have a working background in the craft skill that they share with the students. They are also supportive, and guide the students as a member of the “workforce” – Skillway is not “school” and the students learn how to approach the workplace.
